Subbotin on reforming the agro-industrial complex in the Vitebsk region: of course, there is an effect
This was stated to journalists by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Subbotin following a report to the President. The Head of State was particularly interested in the work of integration structures created in the Vitebsk region:

– How is our so-called experiment going? Did it succeed or fail? We have been working under these conditions for the second year. Has the Vitebsk region received what we expected from it?
In a conversation with journalists, Alexander Subbotin said that the final results of the reform will become clear at the end of the year, when the final statistics are obtained:
- Of course, there is an effect. A large number of debts have been cleared, almost 74 percent, and a new investment cycle has been launched at the enterprises. Those farms that are unable to obtain credit have been merged into holdings, and they have been given an impetus for more intensive production. Now, based on the year's results, we are collecting statistics and will see where we need to correct our mistakes and where to continue acting in the same direction.
