Courts of Zheleznodorozhny and Pervomaysky districts of Vitebsk celebrated housewarming
The courts have not only received a new registration (Lenin Street, 17), but have also increased their area fivefold. The modernization of the building began in August last year. In fact, the new facility was commissioned ahead of schedule. The estimated cost of the work exceeded 15 million rubles. The builders of OJSC "DorstroyMontazhTreste" managed to save 2.5 million, which will go towards the capital repair of the court of the Oktyabrsky district. This was announced during the grand opening ceremony by the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus, Valentin Sukalo.

The Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, Vladimir Terentiev, in turn, emphasized the symbolism of the moment: a landmark facility for the region and the republic, in the good Soviet tradition, is being opened on the eve of November 7 – the Day of the October Revolution. He also noted that on November 22, it will be 105 years since the adoption of Decree "On Court" No. 1.

The new administrative building provides excellent conditions for both court employees and visitors, including those with limited physical abilities.

Valentin Sukalo noted that this is the third House of Justice commissioned in the republic this year.
– The Supreme Court's own funds were used for the modernization of the building. We have received a facility that meets all international requirements and standards of justice, including those related to the introduction of digitalization and electronic legal proceedings. The computer systems of the courts are already integrated into a unified judicial information system. This will allow, for example, to conduct proceedings online, – noted Valentin Sukalo.
