Superextra is a reality: unique milk in its qualities will begin to be received at RUP 'Ustye' of the Orsha district
– This is the first similar experience in Belarus, – noted the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Nikolai Sherstnev, during his visit to the Orsha district. – The Red Danish cow is considered one of the best in the world in terms of milk yield and its quality indicators.
According to the head of the agricultural enterprise, Dmitry Batyukov, high-quality milk contains all vitamins and beta-casein. Scientists call it goat milk, the most beneficial for the human body. Including for people suffering from allergies. In fact, it is a super-extra.
– Fat content is 4.2-5%, protein is 3.5, – states Dmitry Batyukov. – We plan to get about 9 thousand liters per cow per year. It is noteworthy that cheeses of the highest quality can be produced from such milk. The breed has a long lifespan, 6-8 lactations, and increased resistance to diseases, primarily mastitis and leukemia.
The housing conditions for the foreign "residents" and their diet are top-notch. A robotic carousel with 40 places is installed in the milking parlor. The diet for the heifers was developed by scientists from the Center for Animal Husbandry of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
