August 20, Minsk / Vladimir Vasilkov - BELTA /. This year's celebrations at the sanctuary of the Mother of God Queen of Lakes in Braslav promise to be very eventful. This was reported to BELTA by the secretariat of the Conference of Catholic Bishops in Belarus. The main events will take place on August 21-22. The sanctuary of the Vitebsk diocese of the Roman Catholic Church will host not only clergy and laity from Belarus but also many guests from abroad (from Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine). The thematic leitmotif of the celebrations will be the sanctity of marriage and family. During these days in Braslav, husbands and wives from different parts of Belarus will renew their marriage vows before the image of the Queen.
