Vitebsk region enterprises are producing souvenir products for the 2014 Ice Hockey World Championship

While the final preparations for hosting the Ice Hockey World Championship in Belarus are being completed, trade enterprises are rushing to sell themed souvenir products. Republican information sources report that three months before the start of the World Championship, the right to produce such goods will pass to the International Ice Hockey Federation. And their sale during the championship will only be possible in stores, at train stations, and at the airport.

Since 2011, 88 enterprises in the country have signed license agreements for the production of products with the 2014 World Championship logo. Their products are very diverse. As many as 19 Belarusian enterprises produce bags with the championship symbols.

By the way, the enterprise KUP "Vitplast" produced similar products until it entered bankruptcy proceedings, as reported by the trade department of the regional executive committee. Now, Vitebsk region in the common pool of those involved in the main sporting event of our country next year is represented by two individual entrepreneurs, as well as the Orsha Linen Mill and the Polotsk RUPP "Nasledie F. Skoriny". The Orsha enterprise offers towels and linen bags, while the Polotsk enterprise offers magnets, badges, pennants, notebooks, stickers, and gift bags, which are manufactured exclusively according to orders from retail outlets.
