The Lepel Dairy and Canning Plant has started producing powdered milk for coffee machines

JSC "Lepel Dairy Canned Food Plant" has started mass production of a new product – instant dry milk with sugar for coffee vending machines. The novelty, presented at the Belagro-2015 exhibition, attracted the attention of the English company "Mondelez", which specializes in the production of granules for coffee machines, and the first trial batch was sent there several months ago. The tests conducted by the company itself were successful, and foreign partners noted the excellent quality of Lepel products.

As reported by Zhanna Abasheva, Deputy Director of the Plant for Production, the first order for the company of 25 tons will be fulfilled by the end of September. Certification and declaration have been completed, and all documents are prepared. In the future, this product will be shipped to the Russian Federation and the Customs Union countries. The plant is also considering packaging the new product in small consumer containers for sale in retail chains.
The dry milk production workshop operates in three shifts, which is essentially a continuous production process: 20 hours are spent on product manufacturing, and four hours are allocated for washing and equipment maintenance. The friendly and responsible team is led by Anna Pligovka, a professional well-known not only in the region, a laureate of the regional executive committee's "Person of the Year of Vitebsk Region-2011" award. This is one of the main production units of the plant – up to 70% of raw materials are used for dry milk production. In recent years, thanks to modernization, several new types of dry milk have been mastered – instant, with vitamins, and others.
