Over 150 fairs will be held in the Vitebsk region on the eve of Christmas and New Year

More than 150 festive fairs will be held in the Vitebsk region on the eve of Christmas and New Year, BELTA was informed by the trade department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. Pre-New Year and Christmas fairs with the participation of industrial and food enterprises will be organized in all cities and district centers of the region. Christmas tree markets will open on December 19, and expanded sales of festive products, souvenirs and food will take place in the regional center on December 24 and 30. In total, trade enterprises of the region plan to hold over 1.3 thousand exhibitions-sales, clearance sales, and promotional events in December. Traditionally, during the pre-holiday period, buyers can expect various promotions with price reductions and discounts from 5% to 30%. During the New Year holidays, the operating hours of 850 retail outlets and 365 catering establishments will be extended. Moreover, there will be enough gifts and champagne for everyone, the trade department assured. Thus, as of December 16, trade enterprises have received 15.4 thousand decaliters of champagne, which is 15% more compared to the same date last year. Gift sets are presented in a wide assortment in stores. In the coming days, confectionery and bakery products from RUPP "Vitebskhlebprom" in festive packaging will go on sale. -0-
