Over 2,000 Vityaz employees took part in a community clean-up day today

April 11, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Over 2,000 employees of RUPP "Vityaz" took part in the republican subbotnik today, the enterprise informed a BELTA correspondent. About 300 people are engaged in the improvement of the facilities of the TV plant and the city. They are involved in the landscaping of the sites and territories of the TV plant on Petrus Brovka and Gagarin streets, in the area of the "Yuzhnaya" boiler house, and are tidying up the areas near the dormitories and the enterprise's trading houses. In addition to their own facilities, the plant workers are also involved in work in the newly built "Medtsentr" microdistrict and cleaning the streets adjacent to it. 1.8 thousand "Vityaz" employees are working at their workplaces. According to preliminary data, they will produce products worth Br105 million today. In total, the Vitebsk region plans to earn at least Br1 billion from today's subbotnik. Half of these funds will remain in the region and will be used for the repair, reconstruction, restoration, and improvement of the region's memorial complexes, sites of military glory, and burial sites of WWII soldiers and partisans, as well as for preparing suburban health resorts for the summer season and equipping agro-towns. The other half, transferred to the Ministry of Finance, will be directed towards financing measures for the development of existing and the creation of additional infrastructure in agro-towns. -0-
