Over 6,000 young people will be employed in the Vitebsk region during the summer period, the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRSM informed a BELTA correspondent. More than 1,300 young men in 49 construction teams will be engaged in various construction sites in the region. They will build residential buildings, a dairy farm, assist in the construction of a new large secondary school in the Bilevo microdistrict of the regional center, and in landscaping work on Victory Square. Students of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov will improve their pedagogical skills in working with children and adolescents who will come to rest in the region's health camps. In addition, more than 40 students will work at the "Golubaya Strela" camp near St. Petersburg. About 900 young people have been enrolled in agricultural teams. Their main activities will include grain drying, flax harvesting, and weeding root crops and fir trees. About 1,300 members of ecological teams will be involved in landscaping, cleaning roadsides, and recreational areas. Volunteers from volunteer teams will also be engaged in similar work. Participants of the third labor semester will have a busy life in the coming days. The results of their work will be summarized in the autumn, the regional committee added. -0-
