Dances, performances, and a kissing record – a street art festival will be held in Vitebsk

The street art festival "Na semi vetrakh" (In the Seven Winds) will be held in Vitebsk from July 11 to 15 and will traditionally gather a variety of artists.

Over the years of its existence, the forum has won the hearts of Vitebsk residents and guests with its openness, colorfulness, and maximum interactivity. Theater productions, fire shows, living statues, performances, dances, performances by musicians, artists, bards, poets, and DJs – all this and much more awaits spectators in the open air. Events will take place at venues near the Pushkin Bridge and on the adjacent square of the same name, at the Center for Modern Art and its courtyard, on Tolstoy Street, in Frunze Park, and near the "Lyalka" Theater.

Applications for participation have been submitted by over 500 people. These are representatives of completely different groups, each of which will find its own venue and audience. One of the festival's features has become the establishment of unique records.

In previous years, participants recited a thousand poems about Vitebsk, photographers took a thousand pictures on the opening day of the "Slavianski Bazaar," and photos of the street art festival events were collected on social media. This year, it's time for a kiss record. Organizers expect to gather a thousand – romantic, friendly, and air kisses.

From July 11 to 15, on Pushkin Bridge, everyone will be able to take photos of their kisses and post them on social media under a special hashtag. On July 12 at 8:30 PM, a parade of forum participants will take place along the central streets of Vitebsk – from Frunze Park to Pushkinskaya Square. A colorful performance by artists will be held here. The street art festival "Na semi vetrakh" will be held for the fifth time this year. The organizer is the "Vitebsk" Cultural Center. The creative project is led by Vladislava Tsviki.
