The first-category tariff rate will be increased in Belarus in the second half of 2011
February 17, Gomel / Valery Sidorchik - BELTA /. The first-category tariff rate for the remuneration of employees of Belarusian budget organizations will be increased in the second half of 2011. This was reported to BELTA correspondent today in Gomel by Deputy Finance Minister of Belarus Vladislav Tatarinovich. He participated in a meeting with the work collective of SOAO "Gomelkabel".
According to the interlocutor, this issue is planned to be discussed in the middle of the year. The Deputy Minister noted that within the year, citizens' real incomes, according to the set task, should increase by 8-10%. This applies to both the wages of employees of self-supporting enterprises and employees of the budget sector, as well as pensions and benefits.
In particular, the average monthly pension in 2011 is planned to be increased by 17% to Br607 thousand, and monthly scholarships for students - from the current Br151 thousand to Br203 thousand. "Given that inflation for 2011 is planned at no more than 8%, this is a real increase in income," emphasized Vladislav Tatarinovich.
In Belarus, on November 1, 2010, the first-category tariff rate for the remuneration of employees of budget organizations and other organizations receiving subsidies, whose employees are equated in remuneration to employees of budget organizations, was increased by almost 30% and currently stands at Br118 thousand.-0-
