A laboratory theater appeared in Vitebsk
The theater has opened in the VZAP art space. For now, it is called a theater-laboratory under the direction of Nina Obukhova. The artistic director, a leading stage master of the Y. Kolas Drama Theater, is asking for a name for the new theater: memorable and easy to pronounce.
Its debut is marked by the play "Station, or The Schedule of Wishes for Tomorrow," staged based on the play of the same name by Ukrainian playwright Oleksandr Viter. In it, three women find themselves at a station where something unusual happens: it is almost impossible to leave, but even the most secret desires come true, and in their captivity, we are incapable of sacrifices and actions for the sake of those who truly need us... – This is our first play. We already have plans for other productions, including for children, – shared Nina Obukhova.
