The Vitebsk Television and Radio Company celebrates its 55th anniversary
«
«Goluboy ogonek-1960»» — this is the name of the anniversary evening of the staff of the Vitebsk TV and Radio Company, «Vitebsk», which will take place today in honor of the 55th anniversary of the Vitebsk Television Studio.Numerous guests — the management of Belteleradiocompany, colleagues from other regions, representatives of the regional and city leadership, the public, active authors and veterans will gather in the cozy concert hall
«Vitebsk», to recall the glorious milestones in the development of local television broadcasting.History has it that the first broadcast took place on April 20, 1960, and the program was prepared in the spirit of that time — for the 90th anniversary of the birth of V.I. Lenin. And today that very small pavilion
"in service" — daily news bulletins "Vitebsk Herald" are broadcast from here, it is here that the youth program "For the Cause", "Sportinform", the weekly program "7 Days" are recorded. It is from here that TRK "Vitebsk" is broadcast to the TV channels "Belarus-1" and "Belarus-2". Young faces greet the viewers, a new generation of Vitebsk television professionals — Anna Rustikova, Sergey Misuragin, Natalia Baynarovich, Olga Shmargun, Artur Smolyakov, and others. And behind each editor are dozens of invisible specialists, without whom not a single program would be released: these are video engineers, directors and their assistants, operators, sound engineers, drivers — in total, there are more than 120 employees on staff. Television — just like 55 years ago, and today — is a collective effort. The director of the television and radio company, Elena Pantyukhova, herself not so long ago traveled the roads of the region as a special correspondent for Belarusian television, in order to then present the Vitebsk region interestingly and richly in a segment or report that lasts only a few minutes on air. And now Elena Valeryanovna represents her busy household. Here, in one of the small pavilions, a fragment of a program is being recorded. "Art Time" — an interview with Natalia Shienok, Head of the Department of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs of the City Executive Committee, who talks about the city's preparations for the celebration of Victory Day. And the work of the adjacent pavilion is scheduled literally minute by minute.
— In essence, the studio from which the radio DJ broadcasts is also considered one —
"Radio Day" also airs on television, — says the director. — Due to a lack of funds for modernization, we resort to various tricks. For example, the studio from which "Vecherniy Vitebsk" broadcasts has been decorated as a television cafe using inexpensive materials, we bought about a dozen "Vityaz" televisions on sale and assembled a video wall from the screens! But the main thing is that we managed to replace the long-obsolete props — bulky furniture, pylons, "wings", and so on.Today, the television and radio company broadcasts 119 hours a week, the main part of which is its own productions. We are proud that we have preserved broadcasting in our native Belarusian language, and these are not only news but also cultural and educational programs.
