Housing and communal services, employment, and housing privatization issues dominated the direct line with the Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee

Issues of housing and communal services, employment and remuneration, as well as housing legislation, predominated during the direct telephone line with Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Anatoly Diulin, the regional executive committee informed a BELTA correspondent. Twenty-five calls were received during the three-hour direct line. Primarily, residents of Vitebsk addressed the deputy chairman of the regional executive committee with questions; there were calls from Orsha, Polotsk, Ushachi, Shumilino, Glubokoye, Postavy, Senno, and Lepel districts.

Residents of the region raised issues of landscaping, water supply, housing stock repair, expressed indignation at the high cost of housing privatization, complained about non-compliance with payment deadlines and low wages, requested assistance in employment, and spoke about problems in dormitories. In addition, topics related to the gasification of an apartment building, healthcare, communications, land use and management, architecture and urban planning (arrangement of a balcony in a first-floor apartment) were touched upon.

During the direct line, clarifications were provided, as well as instructions for taking prompt response measures. All issues have been taken under control.
