The accident on the heating main in the Yug-2 microdistrict of the regional center was eliminated by 2 a.m. As previously reported, an accident occurred on a section of the heating main around 6 p.m. on December 22. As a result, 8 five-story, eight-entrance apartment buildings were left without heating and hot water, according to updated data. In two of the buildings, due to flooded basements and the risk of short circuits in the electrical wiring, the power supply was cut off. A crisis headquarters was created, which included engineering and technical staff of Vitebsk Heating Networks and employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
