Technolit-Polotsk will begin serial production of cauldrons in January

December 10, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Open Joint Stock Company "Technolit-Polotsk" will start serial production of cauldrons in January 2011, the enterprise director Leonid Petrov told a BELTA correspondent. According to him, the enterprise currently produces 100-150 cauldrons monthly using existing equipment. A specialized Ukrainian line and refrigeration equipment worth a total of Br400 million have been purchased for large-scale production. They have been installed in a separate production area within the foundry shop. Commissioning and testing will be carried out on the line during December, and the enterprise intends to start serial production of cauldrons in January. Initial batches will exceed 1,000 units in volumes of 4.5 liters, 8 liters, 12 liters, and 20 liters. These volumes will be gradually increased. The decision to develop the production of this product is driven by increased demand due to the growth in private housing construction in both Belarus and Russia. This is confirmed by numerous orders for cauldrons already received by "Technolit-Polotsk" from Belarus and Russia. Regarding the enterprise's development plans, Leonid Petrov emphasized the significance of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Belarus for 2011-2015, approved at the IV All-Belarusian People's Congress, and the speech of the head of state. "All decisions made at the congress are well-founded, will help in our future work, and instill confidence in the future," he stressed. For example, the average salary at "Technolit-Polotsk" in November was Br1.520 million, and the same is expected for December. Overall, the enterprise's employee income has increased by 23% this year compared to 2009. "If we maintain this momentum, it is quite realistic to reach a salary of $1,000 in the next five years," the head is convinced, adding that the key to achieving any goal is focused and high-quality work. In January-November, the enterprise produced products worth Br18.6 billion, or 116% compared to the same period last year. Exports increased 2.4 times to $2.2 million. The energy saving indicator was minus 15% against a target of minus 12%. Investment in fixed assets is expected to be around Br1.2 billion by the end of the year. The enterprise was founded in 1927. It specializes in the production of gray cast iron products and metalworking products. The average number of employees is 360 people. The commissioning of the new production area for cauldron manufacturing will allow the enterprise to create 10 additional jobs. -0-
