The title of the most talented participant of "Miss Belarus-2012" was won by Olga Nikiforova from Vitebsk

April 30, Minsk / Tatyana Pastushenko - BELTA /. The title of the most talented participant of the VIII National Beauty Contest "Miss Belarus-2012" was won by 21-year-old Olga Nikiforova from Vitebsk. This became known following the show broadcast on ONT channel, reports a BELTA correspondent. Members of the professional jury had previously assessed the abilities and skills of all 28 contestants, whose task was to make an indelible impression on the judges. In addition to vocal performances, many of the girls were not afraid to showcase their choreography skills, played musical instruments, demonstrated acting talents, performed magic tricks, blew soap bubbles, and created Japanese-style paintings. As a result, the judges decided to admit the following beauties to the semi-final show, in addition to Olga Nikiforova: Oksana Lukanova, Yulia Skalkovich, Irina Volkova, Alina Novikova, Inna Konovalova, Daria Gritsuk, Tatyana Davydenko, Veronika Gribanova, and Anna Karpovich. Olga Nikiforova was the only one among the contenders for the diamond-studded crown of "Miss Belarus-2012" who flawlessly recited tongue twisters. Earlier, it was announced that the title of "Miss Top Model" was awarded to 20-year-old Natalia Brishten from Brest, Victoria Shavel (20 years old) from Gomel won the title of "Miss Sport," and Yulia Skalkovich (20 years old) from Brest was recognized as the most photogenic participant of the show. The girls themselves will have to choose the most friendly competitor (the title of "Miss Friendship"). Her name will be announced at the final show along with the name of "Miss Charity" (a title awarded for the preparation and implementation of the best charity project). Also, based on SMS voting results, "Miss Audience Choice" will be named - likely, it will be 23-year-old Tatyana Davydenko from Minsk, whom viewers have identified as their favorite based on the TV show. The winners of the titles obtained in the semi-finals have a clear advantage over their competitors: they are guaranteed a spot in the top ten finalists, from whom the jury members will select the top five. Three of them will receive the titles of second vice-miss, first vice-miss, and "Miss Belarus-2012." The winners of all titles will be awarded cash prizes. The show broadcast on ONT channel, which determined "Miss Talent," is the last one this year. It will be followed by the final of the VIII National Beauty Contest, which will take place on May 4. The contest is held every two years. -0-
