The title "Queen of Belarusian Studentry" was awarded to a student of VSTU
"I lead an active lifestyle, I am involved in sports, scientific activities and creativity," Anna said about herself. - I participate in various city, regional and republican events. Back in my first year, I took part in dance support groups for VSTU representatives in the "Student of the Year" and "Student Queen" contests, and then I didn't even dream that I could be in their place. But already in my second year, I became the Student of the Year of the Vitebsk region and a prize-winner of the republican competition "Student of the Year of Belarus-2021". I am very grateful for this project: it breathed new life into me, gave me self-confidence and support in my future endeavors. I am also a two-time winner as part of the university team in the republican civil and patriotic marathon "Together - for a strong and prosperous Belarus!". I always approach my goals with a smile, modesty, responsiveness, friendliness, positivity, diligence and meticulousness. I adhere to the opinion that the path to success lies through becoming the best version of myself."
The title of "I Vice-Student Queen of Belarus 2022" was awarded to Anna Bushunova, a 3rd-year student of the Pediatric Faculty of Grodno State Medical University.
"Medicine undoubtedly takes up a lot of my time, but I am incredibly fond of children and my future profession," shared the student. "Therefore, in addition to reading literature and attending classes, I am engaged in scientific activities, and participate in the sports and social life of the university. I dedicate my free time to volunteering in various organizations. I consider determination to be my strong suit, but kindness and the desire to find a ray of light in any situation are equally important qualities for me. For me, as for every person, it is important to achieve my goals. Learning new things, not forgetting the old, striving today to be better than yesterday – this is my life credo."
The jury decided that the title of "II Vice-Queen of Belarusian Student Youth 2022" was shared by two finalists: Valeria Slesarchuk, a first-year student of the Faculty of Sociocultural Communications of Belarusian State University, and Veronika Lukashevich, a first-year student of the Faculty of Preschool Education of Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University.
Valeria is an activist in life, having gone from a ballet studio with pointe shoes to combat boots with a military uniform. "My first steps were directly into a choreography school, where for 11 years dance and music became a part of my life. Playing the piano taught me to feel and to stop at the right time. I took an oath when I was studying in classes with a military-patriotic focus; it was there that patriotism, willpower, determination, and team spirit were instilled in me. I think my uniqueness lies in the fact that I still believe in miracles; a carriage, of course, won't turn into a pumpkin, but the ability to find opportunities around me, to see only the positive in others, seems special to me," she emphasized.
"My name is Veronika, and my name says a lot, as it translates to 'bringer of victory'," noted Veronika Lukashevich. "I am 18 years old and I study at the most wonderful faculty of preschool education. I am a very communicative, calm, and kind person who loves to help others. I absolutely love to sing, dance, and spend time with children; they are my everything. Also, recently, the stage has become very important to me. It is a place where I can give a piece of myself and, in return, receive an ocean of energy. My life motto is: be confident in yourself, never lose heart, and always have a smile on your face."
"The title of 'Student Miss Belarus - 2022 online' was won by Natalia Papko, a third-year student of the medical faculty at Gomel State Medical University."
"In addition to a busy academic program, in my free time, I manage to attend the vocal studio 'Nastroenie,' actively participate in all university and city concert programs, and I am also an activist in the BRSM volunteer movement," the girl said. "For 5 years, I have been involved in charity work, helping animal shelters for homeless animals. With my help, over 100 animals have found their homes. I dream of becoming a psychiatrist-narcologist and promoting Belarusian medicine in the international arena. My life motto: through hardships to the stars."
The founder of the republican competition of grace and talent "Student Miss 2022," whose objectives are the aesthetic, creative, and spiritual education of the younger generation, as well as the identification and support of talented students, is the Belarusian Republican Youth Union. The competition is a non-profit creative project. It serves as the national selection for the participation of representatives of the Republic of Belarus in the XXXI International Beauty and Talent Contest "Student Miss," organized by the BRSM and the Russian Union of Youth.
