Tolochn will be transformed for the regional festival "Dazhynki-2015"

Repair and reconstruction of 95 facilities will be carried out in Tolochin (Vitebsk region) in preparation for the regional festival-fair of agricultural workers "Dazhynki".

Currently, the city resembles one large construction site: landscaping of central streets, a public garden, a square, and courtyards is underway, along with repairs to the residential sector and urban infrastructure facilities. The executive committee emphasizes that such large-scale construction work has not been carried out in Tolochin for a long time. The Tolochin District Executive Committee noted that over the past 30 years, mainly current repairs have been carried out in the city; a more significant scope of work was completed only in 2001, when the 1000th anniversary of Drutsk, one of the oldest Christian settlements in the territory of Ancient Rus', was celebrated.

"Naturally, the regional "Dazhynki" in 2015 will give Tolochin a new impetus, new development momentum. The city will be transformed, beautified - it will become more comfortable for living and interesting for tourists. And this, in turn, will help to earn additional money," the executive committee expressed hope.
