Tolochnsky district intends to increase exports by developing the agro-industrial complex

The Tolochin District intends to create jobs and increase exports by developing the agro-industrial complex, as reported by the local district executive committee.

This year, the "Beldan" enterprise plans to complete the construction of the first phase of an agro-enterprise for the production of bacon pork with a capacity of 6 thousand tons per year. Rayagroservice is building a dairy farm complex for 800 head of dairy cattle. To expand product sales markets, the Tolochin Cannery plans to build a rapid freezing workshop for potatoes. "The implementation of these projects will create jobs and increase exports," emphasized the district executive committee. "All production tasks are ultimately aimed at improving the well-being and quality of life of people."

Based on the results of its work in 2015, the Tolochin District achieved the best indicators of socio-economic development, thanks to which, along with the Nesvizh District of the Minsk Region and the Mozyr District of the Gomel Region, it was inscribed on the Republican Board of Honor. In 2015, the regional festival-fair of rural workers "Dazhynki" was held in the Tolochin District.

In preparation for the holiday, a significant amount of work was carried out in the district on the repair and reconstruction of social facilities. Last year, the district received a record harvest of grain – 100 thousand tons of grain were harvested from the fields. Industrial enterprises such as "Svyatovit", "Amkodor-KEZ", the Kokhanovo Pipe Plant "Beltrubplast", the Tolochin Cannery, and the road construction department No. 63 of OJSC "Construction and Installation Trust No. 8" ensure production profitability, which allows for an increase in employee wages. The updated Republican Board of Honor was opened in Minsk yesterday on the eve of the fifth All-Belarusian People's Assembly.
