Russian retail chains have started selling "Vityaz" smart TVs with the "Salyut TV" operating system

Торговые сети России приступили к продаже смарт-телевизоров «Витязь» с ОС «Салют ТВ»
In late September, the largest Russian electronics retail chains began selling "Vityaz" smart TVs running on the "Salyut TV" operating system. This is a joint project of the well-known Vitebsk electronics manufacturer and Russia's "Sberbank," whose ecosystem includes the "Salyut" virtual assistant service.

As explained in the "Vityaz" marketing department, at this stage, "smart" TVs with 4K Ultra HD resolution and diagonals of 50, 55, and 65 inches are being exported as part of the Russian order. The device can be controlled using the included remote and via a virtual remote in the application. Additionally, the "Salyut TV" platform is fully adapted for voice control. There are three virtual assistants – "Sber," "Athena," and "Joy," so everyone can choose a suitable character by voice and personality. Their task is to execute user voice commands, including answering questions, searching for content, ordering groceries, and more.

Since this is a Russian order, only Russian TV viewers will be able to take advantage of the new combination of quality technology and the new platform for now. At the same time, the Vitebsk enterprise does not rule out that under certain conditions, with further development of the operating system, Belarusians will also be able to appreciate the capabilities of "Vityaz" running on "Salyut TV."
