A tractor driver found a ammunition depot in the forest of the Liozno district

July 10, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. A cache of ammunition was discovered in the Liozno district, a BELTA correspondent was informed by military unit No. 5524 of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus. While clearing a plot of land in the forest near the village of Buraki, a tractor driver spotted ammunition from the Great Patriotic War. In total, a demining group from military unit No. 5524, called to the scene, found 120 mortar shells, 23 hand grenades, and 13 fuses for them from the war period on an area of 50 m by 50 m. All ammunition was removed to a safe place and neutralized.-0-
