The MTZ tractor rally will become traditional and will be held not only in Belarus

JSC "Minsk Tractor Works" plans to make the rally a tradition and thus conduct tests of new equipment. This was announced by the General Director of the enterprise, Fyodor Domotenko, who attended the Paris-Mosar tractor rally in the Vitebsk region.

Speaking about the idea of holding tractor races, the General Director noted that this story began last year. "The Head of State visited MTZ, we then presented a prototype tractor and promised the President that in a couple of months 10 new tractors would be shipped to the Vitebsk region for testing under commercial contracts. The tractors passed these tests, are working in the farms and today took part. In order to prove the capabilities of these machines, we decided to experiment – to conduct racing tests. In addition to the machines working in the Vitebsk region, we brought tractors to the rally that had just come off the assembly line. No one specially prepared them. You saw – they reached the finish line and looked very dignified," said the General Director.

MTZ plans to make this project a tradition. "We are currently deciding where it will take place. There is an interesting idea – we were looking for places where villages have similar names and found a village called Paris in the Chelyabinsk region and a similarly named one, Mosar. Most likely, we will hold similar competitions in Russia somewhere at the end of August, but with different products. And we plan to hold the same run, but with a new unique tractor of 450 horsepower. Almost no one has seen it yet, there was only a presentation. The machine is currently undergoing tests, and 10 such tractors are being prepared for production. I think these tractors will take part in such a run-test next year," Fyodor Domotenko shared his plans. He also added that the new MTZ tractors that took part in the rally today (representing the MTZ team) will soon be sent to the Pukhovichi district.

Minsk region. The route of the Paris-Mosar tractor rally ran through the Postavy and Glubokoye districts between the settlements of Paris and Mosar. The tractors started in a field near Paris, video recording of the competition was carried out along the route, including from the air (using cameras on quadcopters). The rally ended in Mosar, where an award ceremony and concert took place near the church. According to the organizers, this event is intended to contribute to improving the company's image and increasing the prestige of the tractor driver profession.
