Трем аспирантам Витебского государственного медицинского университета присуждена стипендия Президента Республики Беларусь на 2014 год

The scholarship of the President of the Republic of Belarus for 2014 has been awarded to five postgraduate students of the republic's medical universities, three of whom are from Vitebsk State Medical University.

Roman Lukashov developed a technology for obtaining a drug with an immunomodulatory effect based on the flowers of Rudbeckia hirta, and conducted other important research, the results of which received such high praise. Tatyana Rozhdestvenskaya developed an algorithm for diagnosing hypertensive disorders during and after pregnancy, and a method for predicting the risk of complications in women with such a condition during fetal development. Anna Simonovich was engaged in the development of a method for preventing strokes and myocardial infarctions in patients with arterial hypertension. This took into account quality of life, psychological personality traits, adherence to antihypertensive therapy, and other factors that increase treatment effectiveness and reduce its costs. The latter two developments by VSMU postgraduate students have already been implemented in the practice of medical institutions in the region.
