Three dairy plants in the Vitebsk region received certificates in accordance with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor

July 23, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Three dairy processing enterprises in the Vitebsk region have re-registered documents for products exported to the Russian Federation, and four more are completing this work, Elena Lifar, Deputy General Director for Production of the Vitebsk Concern "Meat and Dairy Products," told a BELTA correspondent. Certificates of conformity and sanitary-epidemiological conclusions have been obtained for all 74 types of products subject to re-registration, which are exported to the neighboring state by joint-stock companies "Moloko" (Vitebsk), "Glubokoye Dairy and Canning Plant," and "Polotsk Dairy Plant." Sample testing was carried out by laboratories in Pskov and Smolensk certified by Rospotrebnadzor. Joint-stock companies "Orsha Dairy Plant," "Postavy Dairy Plant," "Lepel Dairy and Canning Plant," and "Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Plant" have already re-registered certificates for the main types of exported products - hard cheeses and butter - and are completing the process of obtaining permits for new types of products intended for export. As Elena Lifar noted, all dairy processing enterprises will necessarily certify their exported products when updating the range in accordance with Rospotrebnadzor requirements. According to the specialist, there have been no significant changes in the technological process of dairy production due to the new Russian technical regulations at the enterprises. The products are made from whole natural milk and meet quality and safety requirements. Only the packaging of some products required minor changes, as the Russian regulations specify font size requirements. In accordance with the agreements reached, the re-registration of documents for Belarusian dairy products according to Russian requirements must be completed before August 1. -0-
