Thirteen sham enterprises were identified by the tax authorities of the Vitebsk region in 2010

January 25, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. Tax inspectorates of the Vitebsk region identified the activities of 13 sham enterprises in 2010. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the press service of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties Inspectorate for the Vitebsk region. Based on the results of inspections of business entities that were engaged in concealing tax objects, Br5.6 billion in taxes, fees, and fines were additionally charged to the budget. In addition, tax authorities conducted more than 30 comprehensive inspections of enterprises and organizations that used the services of sham enterprises or used invalid primary documents in their accounting. As a result of control measures, about Br3 billion were additionally charged to the budget. Furthermore, based on the materials of these tax audits, law enforcement agencies initiated 8 criminal cases. In total, in 2010, the region's tax authorities additionally charged about Br64.4 billion to the budget based on the results of inspections for compliance with tax legislation. -0-
