Three robbers stole Br15,000 from a store in the Orsha district.
August 18, Minsk /Corr. BELTA/. Three robbers stole Br15 thousand from a rural store in the Orsha district. This was reported to BELTA by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.
The crime was committed in the village of Zasekli in the Orsha district. Hiding their faces with black nylon stockings, the criminals burst into the store and demanded money from the cashier. To confirm the seriousness of their intentions, one of the attackers pointed an object resembling a pistol (which later turned out to be a toy) at the woman. Not losing her composure, the saleswoman began to put everything she could grab into a bag. As a result, the unsuspecting villains left the store with goods worth a total of Br15 thousand.
As a result of the "Siren" plan, one of the robbers, an 18-year-old resident of Smolevichi, was detained by employees of the Orsha District Department of Internal Affairs. During further operational-search activities, the accomplices were identified while the trail was still hot – two unemployed residents of Smolevichi, one of whom had previously been convicted of theft and fraud. Currently, all of them have been detained.
In the seven months of the current year, 380 robberies were committed in Belarus (in the same period last year – 463). -0-
