other. Behind every good deed, there is always a person with an open heart, especially when it comes to the Peace Fund. On the one hand, these are those who direct earned funds for the common good, and on the other hand, public activists who initiate and help implement good intentions, realize specific projects and initiatives. Therefore, on the anniversary, there was an awarding of deserving representatives of the peacekeeping movement in the Pridvinye region – with honorary diplomas, letters of appreciation from the regional executive committee, the regional Council of Deputies, and the organization itself.
The badge of the Belarusian Peace Fund "Distinguished Peacemaker" was awarded to Zoya Krot, Galina Klyosova, and Nikolai Morozov, who at one time headed the regional branch and dedicated considerable effort to the peacekeeping movement in the region.
The festive hall was filled with friends and partners of the Peace Fund – representatives of local authorities, public associations, various institutions, organizations, including guests from near and far abroad. And this indicates that peace truly unites.
The brightest and most touching moment in the anniversary program was the presentation of "Child of Peace" certificates to parents whose sons and daughters were born on September 21, the International Day of Peace. Also, children who had previously received this certificate came on stage with their mothers and fathers. After all, the annual "Child of Peace" campaign has been held in the Vitebsk region for seven years, and more than 170 young Pridvinye residents have this honorable status. It can be stated that peace has a future, including in the face of these children who will grow up and build a prosperous and peaceful Belarus.
