The labor contingent of the regional executive committee, led by Alexander Subbotin, improved the grounds of the reconstructed Vitebsk City Central Clinical Hospital
– We came to the subbotnik today with good spirits and a working enthusiasm, – said the head of the regional authorities, answering reporters' questions. – Despite the gloomy weather, we will all gladly work and do a good deed. Improvement is a permanent process. We need to be engaged in landscaping somewhere, finishing roads somewhere, cleaning up, and fixing curbs everywhere. Therefore, by and large, all facilities constantly need close attention, care, and maintenance. Well, key, socially significant facilities, like this hospital, receive special attention. We still hope and are confident that we will commission it by the summer and equip it. The only issue is the supply of large equipment – due to the foreign policy situation, it may be delayed. The main thing is that this year the hospital will be put into operation, and the population will be able to receive high-quality medical care here.
Currently, finishing, electrical, and plumbing work is being carried out on all floors of the Vitebsk City Central Clinical Hospital building, the installation of low-current systems is underway, the medical gas supply system is being installed, and work is being done to improve the adjacent territory.
A modern educational, scientific, and production cluster will be created on the basis of the Vitebsk Regional Hospital, as announced during the republican subbotnik by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin.
The regional executive committee's labor contingent always lands on the most significant objects. The Vitebsk City Central Clinical Hospital was chosen this time because it is critically important to commission it as quickly as possible, in order to then proceed to the largest and most significant medical facility for the region – the reconstruction of the regional hospital, explained Alexander Subbotin.
– Huge plans are to be implemented there: there will be a new building and new operating rooms. The entire complex requires a meticulous and fundamental approach to renovation, from equipment to facade work, – to improve the comfort of patients and the work of staff in the institution, – the governor shared his plans. – We are thinking of creating an educational, scientific, and production cluster on the basis of the regional hospital, which will be an example for the whole country. After all, the Vitebsk region has exclusive conditions: it has one of the best medical universities, a medical college, university clinics, all of which, as well as scientific work, can be combined on the basis of the regional hospital. I think no one in our country has anything like it. But we will try to make it happen.
