The sale price of the real estate object at auction in Vitebsk exceeded the initial price by 1.2 thousand times

July 9, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. A new record for the excess of the real estate sale price over the starting price – 1.2 thousand times – was set today at an auction in Vitebsk. The previous record (423 times) did not last even a year, the head of the auctions and competitions department of the Vitebskoblимущество fund, Larisa Shcheglova, told a BELTA correspondent. The subject of the record bidding was a pigsty building in Orsha with a total area of 845 sq.m. The single-story building was put up for auction at a starting price of one base value (Br35 thousand) and attracted five potential buyers. As a result of a tense struggle at the 64th step of the auctioneer, a winner was determined, who offered Br42 million for the real estate. In total, three objects were put up for auction for one base value, and all of them found new owners. A bath and laundry complex building with an area of 478 sq.m, located in the Orsha district, was sold for Br26.5 million. The bidding for one more object was declared void, as only one participant showed interest in the real estate. In accordance with Decree No. 232 "On Certain Issues of Conducting Auctions (Competitions)", the organizers offered the sole bidder to purchase the lot of interest to him at a price slightly over Br36.7 thousand, i.e., with an excess of the starting sale price by 5%. As a result, a two-story building of a former dormitory with a total area of 827 sq.m in Barani, Orsha district, will be put into economic circulation by a new owner. An obligatory condition for all auction winners is the organization of entrepreneurial activity on the real estate objects and the creation of new jobs, Larisa Shcheglova added. -0-
