The Public Election Observation Center will start operating on January 21

Representatives of the largest public associations and political parties of the country are once again joining forces for joint work on observing the voting process. Starting from the first day of early voting, the Public Election Observation Center will begin its work, where information from observers about the voting process and possible emergency situations will be accumulated.

Public associations and political parties have already nominated about 30,000 observers. They are accredited at almost all polling stations in every region of Belarus. By the way, the accreditation process for national observers will continue until January 20.

"The Center's work is structured in such a way that our national observer works at each polling station. This is a person with the necessary level of training, who clearly understands their duties and the responsibility entrusted to them. National observers know all the main legislative aspects of the commission's work, the voting and observation procedures. Observers will promptly inform the Center about the voting process and possible problematic issues. This form of work allows not only to have objective information from the polling stations but also eliminates the possibility of data distortion," – the press service of the Federation of Trade Unions reported.

In turn, the Center will promptly inform the media and the public about everything that happens at the polling stations.

Also, from the first day of early voting, a telephone "hotline" will be organized for voters at the Center. Anyone can ask their question about the electoral campaign, the voting procedure, report a disputed situation at a polling station, or make suggestions by calling – +375 17 371 07 76. Hotline operating hours: during the early voting period (Tuesday – Saturday) from 12:00 to 19:00, on the main voting day (Sunday) – from 8:00 to 20:00. Each appeal will be thoroughly processed.
