Payment service centers are planned to be opened in 2018 in Orsha and Vitebsk region
In 2018, it is planned to open taxpayer service centers in Orsha and Vitebsk district in the Vitebsk region, the press service of the regional tax inspectorate reported.
The new format of interaction with taxpayers, which the tax department has been implementing since 2016, is designed to speed up the provision of tax services, ensure more comfortable conditions for business entities and individuals, and increase their awareness. The first taxpayer service center in the Vitebsk region opened in October 2017 at the tax inspectorate of the Oktyabrsky district of the regional center.
During its operation, the center received almost 14 thousand taxpayers. On average, about 1.6 thousand visitors are served there per month, and the average interaction time with one taxpayer does not exceed 5 minutes, the press service explained. A special terminal is installed in the center, with the help of which visitors can leave feedback on the work of tax inspectorate specialists on a five-point scale. During its operation, 96% of visitors gave the maximum rating.
In addition, various forms of electronic interaction are actively being introduced and developed in the Vitebsk region, which contribute to simplifying the process of administering tax procedures and improving the quality of information and consulting services. As a result, today more than 80% of taxpayers in the Vitebsk region interact electronically with the tax authorities. About 65 thousand individuals are connected to the specialized service "Personal Account," through which they can receive notifications for property tax payments, make appointments with the inspectorate management, pay taxes via internet banking, submit income tax returns electronically, etc.
