Prices for liquefied gas in Belarus will increase from August 1

July 29, Minsk /Corr. BELTA/. In Belarus, prices for liquefied gas will increase from August 1. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Ministry of Economy, commenting on resolutions No. 113 of July 25 of the current year "On establishing maximum retail prices for liquefied gas sold at gas filling stations", No. 114 "On the price of liquefied gas sold to the population in cylinders", and No. 115 "On amendments to the resolution of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus of April 4, 2011 No. 52".

Liquefied gas in Belarus is produced mainly from imported raw materials. The current wholesale prices for liquefied gas do not ensure profitable operation of organizations producing this product for communal and domestic consumption and for refueling automotive transport. In this regard, the Ministry of Economy has decided to increase them from August 1, 2011.

Producer prices for liquefied gas for communal and domestic consumption have been increased by 23%, for refueling vehicles - by 24%. Due to the increase in factory wholesale prices for liquefied gases, the Ministry of Economy has also decided to increase prices for liquefied gas used as motor fuel by 24%, and for liquefied gas for refueling small cylinders (1 l, 5 l, 12 l, 27 l) - by 23%. -0-
