The "Choice" event series will help Vitebsk ninth-graders choose their future profession

Ninth-graders of Vitebsk schools will be able to decide on their future profession during the "Choice" career guidance event series, which will be held from March 10 in all districts of the regional center. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Svetlana Vasilyeva, Head of the Professional Counseling Department of the institution "Vitebsk Regional Center for Youth Career Guidance". The first event of the series will be held at Secondary School No. 17 with the participation of representatives from 5 secondary specialized and vocational-technical educational institutions of the regional center, as well as specialists from the labor, employment and social protection department of the city executive committee. At the meeting, students of schools in the Zheleznodorozhny district will be presented with information on the full range of professions that can be obtained in the educational institutions of the city. Specialists from secondary vocational and vocational-technical schools will talk about their institutions in the form of presentations, about how to become a student, and what are the employment prospects for graduates of these educational institutions, and will answer the questions of potential applicants. Here, one can receive professional consultations from employees of the city employment service, as well as psychologists and specialists from the regional center for youth career guidance. It is expected that more than 150 ninth-graders from schools in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Vitebsk will take part in the event. Similar events will be held in schools in the Oktyabrsky and Pervomaysky districts of the regional center on March 16 and 26, respectively.
