Circus show, Holi festival, master classes - the "Volaty Prydzwinnia" festival will be held in the Vitebsk region

In the agro-town of Kirovo, Vitebsk district, on June 19, the large-scale district street art festival "Volaty Prydsvinnia" will be held for the third time. This was reported by the Vitebsk District Executive Committee.

The festival, which has become traditional, will bring together over 350 participants, including amateur and professional artists from not only the Vitebsk district but also from other regions. The grand creative celebration will take place in the homeland of the tallest man in the world - Fyodor Makhnov, who was known as the Vitebsk giant. "The 'Volaty Prydsvinnia' festival is unique in its content and the only one of its kind in the Vitebsk district. Many art genres will be presented here, from circus to street art. The festival has been held since 2018, and only last year it was canceled due to the pandemic. At this celebration, we will tell guests and participants about the life and work of Fyodor Makhnov, whose height was truly gigantic - 2.85 m," the district executive committee noted.

Vocal and choreographic ensembles of the Vitebsk District Center for Culture and Creativity will delight the audience with vibrant performances. The festival will feature a real circus show and theatrical performances. Participants and guests of the festival will be able to take part in art object contests "Park of Giants and Miniatures" for the largest and smallest installations, vocal duet contests "Our Voices," and thematic courtyards "Volataŭ padvorak."

Those who wish will be able to visit interactive platforms, take colorful selfies in original photo zones as souvenirs, measure their height in comparison with the Vitebsk giant, have a bite at the food court, attend skillful master classes in various types of folk crafts, and have fun on the attractions.
