The Centralized Test in the Vitebsk region passed without violations
This year, no applicants in the Vitebsk region had to be removed from the examination hall for violating the testing procedure, as reported by the State Control Committee of the region (in 2015, it is worth recalling, two people were caught using cheat sheets).
Currently, 28.2 thousand young people, applying for university places, have participated in the Centralized Testing. This is 300 less than last year. Applicants can find out how many points they have scored, as usual, on the website of the Republican Institute for Knowledge Control — www.rikz.unibel.by. Those who have not overcome the established threshold will not become students. Taking into account the norms of the Rules of Admission to Higher Educational Institutions, applicants who received:
- from 1 to 9 points in Russian and Belarusian languages;
- for the first specialized subject: from 1 to 14 points for mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology, from 1 to 19 points for all other disciplines;
- for the second specialized subject: from 1 to 9 points for mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology, from 1 to 14 points for all others.
However, such applicants have the right to further participate in the competition for all forms of secondary vocational education.
The second stage of the admission campaign is currently underway — acceptance of documents, passing entrance examinations in specific subjects, and enrollment in universities. If controversial or problematic issues arise, they can be addressed to the commissions operating in each educational institution. Their chairmen are members of the State Control Commission, and their deputy chairmen are employees of the State Control Committee.
