A tourist rally will bring together youth teams from all regions of the Vitebsk region in the Senno district, the head of the youth affairs department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Valery Kunashko, told a BELTA correspondent. The event starts on June 18. For three days, 27 participating teams, each consisting of 25 people, will compete in mountain-hiking, cycling, and water tourism techniques. They will also compete in amateur art contests, tourist life and skills, newspapers, and a quiz on the history of the Vitebsk region during the Great Patriotic War. Winners will be determined in individual disciplines and in the overall standings. The tourist rally is held for the purpose of patriotic education, organizing leisure time, and strengthening the health of young people, and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Its organizers are the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Youth Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.-0-
