Belarus can be learned from on how to conduct elections - A. Lukashenko
September 23, Minsk / Tatyana Polezhay - BELTA /. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko advises those who accuse the Belarusian side of unfair elections to learn from Belarus how to conduct them honestly, with principles, and with dignity, in the interests of the people. He stated this to journalists today, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"What is unfair about Belarusian elections?" the head of state asked, addressing a Polish journalist. "Tell your Polish observers and everyone who conducts elections in your country that they should learn from Belarus how to conduct elections honestly, with principles, and with dignity, in the interests of the people. Here is my advice."
"And you shouldn't bring your own rules into someone else's garden. Tell this to Polish politicians. We will somehow figure out how to arrange our lives here ourselves. As far as I can see, we are not creating problems for you," the President said. -0-
