The student team of young Braslav residents has also joined the preparations for "Dazhynki". Fifteen students from the Vidzy College and city schools received equipment from the housing and communal services – footwear, special clothing, and work tools – and, along with representatives of other organizations, are engaged in landscaping. They cleared the mown grass on the beach of Lake Berezhye and are now involved in preparing the recreation area on Drivyaty for commissioning.

– Their help here is very timely, – states Olga Velyichko, Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee. – Next week, this facility will be commissioned. The students are leveling the soil over a large area, which is immediately being sown with grass.

Then the young men and women will have a new task; there is plenty of work in the city. Everyone is happy to have been enlisted in the team. Some, like eleventh-grade friends Vlad and Maxim, learned about its creation from the website of the BRSM District Committee; others were offered to earn money during their summer holidays by teachers.

– And we all came out to work together to contribute to Braslav's preparation for such a responsible event as "Dazhynki," – says Darya Girsa, acting first secretary of the public association.
