Vitebsk residents' interest in vocal art has been reawakened

September 9, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Vitebsk residents have shown increased interest in vocal art this year. This conclusion was drawn by the Vitebsk City Culture Center based on the results of enrollment in clubs and studios, a BELTA correspondent reports. For the first time, the chamber choir recruited 16 singers at once, and the children's vocal studio "Forum" was also replenished with new artists. This year, almost 600 newcomers joined more than 40 groups and amateur associations to engage in choreography, instrumental music, master vocal and theatrical skills, broaden their horizons in intellectual and discussion clubs, and learn the intricacies of floriculture and historical reconstruction. Notably, the center only sets a lower age limit, striving to work with children from 6 years old, while age is not a barrier for adults to participate. The center's clubs and studios help 1,500 Vitebsk residents spend their leisure time meaningfully. Almost half of the groups hold the titles of "People's" and "Exemplary." In the Vitebsk region, more than 50,000 amateur art participants are involved in creative activities. -0-
