"Days of Christian Culture" will be held in Vitebsk
From December 20 to January 9, the 13th festival "Days of Christian Culture" will be held in Vitebsk. A series of spiritual events will take place within its framework.
Thus, on December 20, at the Cathedral Church of Jesus the Merciful (28 Voini-internatsionalistov St.), students of Vitebsk schools will present their works at the exhibition "God's World Through the Eyes of Children", and on December 24, the regional art museum will invite you to a similar event. On December 25 at 12:00 PM, a festive concert "The Joy of the Nativity of Christ" will be held at the Church of the Holy Spirit (5a Chkalova St.), and on the 27th at 5:00 PM, there will be reader meetings at the Cathedral Church (scientific moderator – Professor of Philology Ivan Lapin).
Charity events will also be held traditionally. On December 29, a Christmas greeting from the Catholic parishes of the regional center, the studio "Yuniks" and students of the Selyutino School of Arts will be organized for the patients of the Vitebsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital, and the next day, St. Nicholas will congratulate the boys and girls of the children's departments of the regional clinical hospital on Christmas. On January 6, the Cathedral Church at 7:00 PM will host a concert by artists of the regional philharmonic society. The festival will conclude with a competition of national nativity scenes at the Palace of Creativity of Children and Youth of the Vitebsk Railway District, which will begin on January 9 at 10:00 AM.
