Three districts of the Vitebsk region have completed the harvesting of grain and leguminous crops

Orsha, Vitebsk and Glubokoye districts are the first in the Vitebsk region to complete the harvest of grain and leguminous crops, the committee for agriculture and food of the regional executive committee reported.

Orsha agrarians received the most significant gross harvest - more than 147 thousand tons. The result of the Vitebsk region is 93.3 thousand tons, and the grain growers of the Glubokoye district harvested more than 51 thousand tons of grain. Agrarians of Beshenkovichi and Dokshitsy districts are approaching the finish line of the harvest - they have 0.2% and 0.6% respectively left to harvest.

According to data as of the morning of September 20, the total regional harvest is more than 975.9 thousand tons with an average yield of 32.3 centners per hectare. Grain growers of the region still have 3.5% of grain and leguminous crops to harvest. The region continues to harvest rapeseed. Work has been completed on 84.6%. Agrarians of the region have harvested potatoes on 32% of the areas. Agrarians of the Vitebsk region are actively sowing winter grain crops. Equipment has covered 34% of the fields allocated for these crops.
