A student from Vitebsk won a gold medal at the International Physics Olympiad
We received wonderful news from Natalia Zhdanovich, Deputy Director of Gymnasium No. 8.
The Ahmad al-Ferghani International Physics Olympiad was held in Fergana (Uzbekistan) from November 10 to 13. 127 schoolchildren took part in it. – No more than four young physicists from each of the 19 participating countries could compete, – noted Natalia Eduardovna. – Maxim Barynin, a student of the 11th "A" grade of our gymnasium, was part of the Belarusian team.
Maxim performed brilliantly and won a gold medal! The young man was led to victory by his physics teacher Elena Marutko. The student is currently resting at a sanatorium. As soon as he returns, we will definitely interview him and congratulate him personally on his victory in one of the most prestigious international Olympiads.
