Participants of the "Vitebsk-2012" performers' contest consider the Vitebsk audience their mascot

July 15, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Participants of the international pop song performers contest "Vitebsk-2012" consider the Vitebsk audience their talisman, admitted to a BELTA correspondent one of the two leaders of the first contest day, Samanta Tina from Latvia. "Here in Vitebsk, my talisman is the audience. The main thing is not the jury's scores or winning. The main thing is how the audience reacts to my song. And I am pleased that the energy that I try to convey to the viewers returns to me from them. We complement each other. The audience understands the feelings I want to convey with the song," Samanta said. The young performer enthusiastically noted that an atmosphere of mutual understanding and friendship reigns at the contest. "I have the best impressions of the contest, of my fellow contestants. I really like it here," she added. Another contestant, Sasha Song from Lithuania, who was delegated by his country to Eurovision in 2009 and reached the final, said that he liked the Vitebsk contest more than the European one. "There is a home-like atmosphere here, the organizers treat the contestants very warmly, and the audience is simply extraordinary," he did not hide his emotions. And here is 19-year-old Iva, the first representative of Montenegro at the contest, who compared herself to... Belarusian potatoes and explained why: "I am the center of attention, and everyone loves me!".-0-
