The educational, scientific, and production complex "Paths of Generations" was created at PSU named after P. Masherov in cooperation with the social service

The educational, scientific, and production complex "Paths of Generations" has been established at Vitebsk State University named after P. Masherov as part of an agreement with the Committee for Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Regional Executive Committee.

The complex aims to train highly qualified specialists in social work and psychology, enhance the effectiveness of research activities, and test their results in practice.

– Thanks to this cooperation, the committee's work will be carried out with the scientific support of the university, and training at VSU will take into account our recommendations and the wishes of social protection institutions, – reported Vera Astapenko, Head of the Department for Social Support of the Population and Stationary Institutions of the Committee for Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Regional Executive Committee.

The interaction between the university and the committee will take various forms, but all will be aimed at solving specific tasks in the social sphere, improving the quality of services provided, and potentially introducing new types of services.

– We plan to jointly develop a roadmap for the elderly, which will be aimed at improving the quality and increasing life expectancy, – said Vera Nikolaevna.
