Scientists propose to develop a scientific program for the integration of Belarus and Russia
April 15, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Scientists propose to develop a program for the integration of Belarus and Russia. This proposal was made by the advisor to the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on economic issues, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Academician Petr Nikitenko, today at a meeting in Vitebsk of the Inter-Academy Council on the problems of the development of the Union State, a BELTA correspondent reports.
"The integration process between Belarus and Russia is currently more intuitive," the academician believes. In his opinion, incompetent statements are often heard from politicians, which politicize relations between the two states. "A scientific basis will allow integration processes to become moral," Petr Nikitenko is confident.
The proposal of the Belarusian scientist was supported by a member of the commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia on economic policy, deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Anatoly Lokot. "An accounting approach in relations between the two states is unacceptable," he believes. -0-
