The decree on the development of the Orsha region will contribute to attracting investors from other regions - opinion
Decree No. 506 "On the Development of the Orsha District of the Vitebsk Region" will contribute to attracting investors from other regions. This opinion was expressed to journalists by the director of the Orsha boiler equipment manufacturing enterprise, Sergey Evseenko.
According to the businessman, he expects an economic effect for the enterprise from the implementation of the decree over time, but it is too early to talk about figures yet. "Undoubtedly, this is an important document both for the enterprise and for the development of the Orsha district. The document will help unleash initiative, attract investors and entrepreneurs from other regions. I think a certain number of people will observe for some time how the decree works, what effect it has, and, having seen the results, will expand their work," believes Sergey Evseenko.
His boiler equipment manufacturing enterprise, which operates on alternative fuels, employs about 15 people. The products are mainly supplied to Russia, but there are plans for further development of the Belarusian market, which is of interest, noted the director. Today, a meeting of interested services of ministries and departments with local entrepreneurs on the application of Decree No. 506 "On the Development of the Orsha District of the Vitebsk Region" was held at the Orsha District Executive Committee.
The event generated interest among representatives of small and medium-sized businesses and gathered over 200 people. The decree on the development of the Orsha district is aimed at creating conditions for the comprehensive socio-economic development of the region, improving the quality and living standards of the population, stimulating entrepreneurship, and increasing local budget revenues. The document provides for a number of economic, financial, tax, administrative, and incentive measures that contribute to solving the key problems of the district. The most effective of them will subsequently be extended to other regions of the republic and will form the basis of a comprehensive action plan for their development.
