Vladimir Terentiev congratulated Bishop Oleg Butkevich on Catholic Christmas

Last Sunday, Catholics celebrated the bright holiday of the Nativity of Christ. Bishop Oleg Butkevich was congratulated by the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev and the Head of the Department for Religious and National Affairs of the Regional Executive Committee Mikhail Danilenko.

Vladimir Vladimirovich noted that this meeting is an opportunity to congratulate not only the bishop but also all representatives of this denomination living in the region. The holiday brings together more and more believers for solemn services. And in general, a lot of good and useful things are being done.

The Catholic Church today plays a significant role in the upbringing of the younger generation, cares for the elderly and the sick, and in particular, the charitable organization "Caritas" can be mentioned here. Each parish carries out extensive work with people, introducing them to faith and goodness.

In turn, Father Bishop thanked for the assistance that the regional authorities provide to the Catholic Church and expressed hope for further cooperation in the spiritual revival of the nation.
