A street for wedding corteges has appeared in Vitebsk

March 24, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. A street has appeared in Vitebsk where only wedding processions are allowed to drive. A special sign has been installed on the small Gogol Street, a BELTA correspondent reports. It is not by chance that only newlyweds and their friends are allowed to drive along this street, as it leads to the most popular photo shoot location for grooms and brides - the building of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, an architectural monument of the 19th century. The preserved natural relief, successfully complemented by noble marble finishes and forging, combined with a magnificent view of the historical monuments of the ancient city and the Summer Amphitheatre, create the most beautiful backdrop for romantic wedding photos and videos. During the day, young mothers with strollers and elderly couples like to stroll in this place, and in the evening, the benches near the observation deck are occupied by lovers. The authorities made it a pedestrian street for them, granting the right of passage only to wedding processions. For officials, access to the regional executive committee building and parking for service vehicles are organized from the other side of the building. Gogol Street is the second pedestrian street in the regional center. The first one, in 2009, was the historical Suvorov Street, which runs near the city hall. -0-
