The "Smart Ones" of the Vitebsk region will compete on October 24-25 for the title "Erudite-2009"

The brightest minds of the Vitebsk region will compete for the title of "Erudite-2009" on October 24-25, the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRSM informed a BELTA correspondent. Teams from all cities and districts of the region will take part in the final games. In total, more than 100 students from grades 9-11 are expected to participate. On the first day, young connoisseurs will have to demonstrate their intellectual power, reaction speed, and ingenuity in "their game" and brain-ring. On the second day, they will showcase their skills in the game "What? Where? When?". According to the organizers' plan, the participants will have to answer more than 150 diverse questions in total. The laurels of victory will go to the team that scores the most points. In addition to honorary awards, it will receive the right to participate in the qualifying round for the republican championship. -0-
